Site Upgrade '11
After two years, I've upgraded my web site.
I've now upgraded my Plone CMS (content management system) from Plone 3.1 to Plone 4.0.4. I still have some work to do, mostly to fix up the styling, personalization of the page templates, add a favicon, settle on a logo, and add some artwork to the main page.
I've made some progress getting the site to my idea of minimal functionality. I'll soon release details about how I have
- added ReCaptcha to my contact form.
- created a blog-like news posting system
- added these reverse-chronologically ordered news postings to my front page.
To become hyper-modern, I will likely add Facebook and possibly Twitter integration.
